Dr. Buch is an experienced cardiovascular surgeon with extensive
experience in the medical device and information management areas.
He received a BA from Cornell University in 1962, and an MD from
Hahnemann Medical College in 1967. After an internship and residency
in General and Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery at Stanford University
Medical Center he engaged in the practice of cardiac surgery until
1997. He is an advisor to a number of private and public healthcare
companies, and is a general partner of Atherton Venture Partners
and a Venture Partner at Medventures. He is a Director of Ventrica,
Inc. He is married with 3 children, and resides in Atherton, California.

Mr. Neubauer is the managing partner of Atherton Venture Partners,
LLC. He is also the founder and president of the Academy of Medical
Economics, Inc., an organization specializing in money management
and financial services for physicians. Mr. Neubauer is currently
a Board Advisor of MEMGen Corporation. Mr. Neubauer holds a B.A.
(Political Economics of Industrial Societies) from UC Berkeley,
1984, and lives in Atherton, California.
