Current portfolio holdings focus primarily on companies that develop diagnostic devices, medical treatment procedures, and surgical instruments in the fields of sports medicine, cardiovascular and vascular medicine, as well as radiology and anesthesiology. Information technology investments focus on companies that develop software and operating systems for storage area networks (SANS) as well as Internet security.

AVP is funded by the private medical community and invests primarily in technology companies with seasoned management looking for seed stage funding. We often co-invest with traditional institutional venture capital funds.
